Eminem & Kim's Divorce Settled
Eminem and his ex-wife Kimberley Mathers avoided
taking their second divorce to trial by finalizing it with an out-of-court settlement during a hearing at Detroit's Macomb
County Circuit Court yesterday (December 20).
Eminem (born Marshall Mathers III) filed for divorce from Kim on Wednesday
(April 5), less than three months after the couple remarried in a highly documented but intimate ceremony in January.
The
two were first married in 1999, but that marriage ended in October 2001 with a legal battle over custody of their daughter
Hailey. They would later reconcile in late 2004 and Eminem went public with their love in December 2005.
According
to the Detroit Free Press, the hearing was presided over by Chief Judge Antonio P. Viviano, who raved about the couple's behavior.
"These people were a pleasure," Viviano told the Free Press. "They conducted themselves with dignity and respect."
The
couple will now share custody of their daughter. They also reached an undisclosed agreement which mentioned money and property
issues.

Investigation clears Eminem of domestic violence charge
Eminem was investigated by police for domestic violence for poking his niece in the head with his finger,
and threatened to kill the girl at estranged wife Kim Mathers' house in Macomb Township.
Advertisement No charges
were levied against Marshall Mathers for the Sept. 24 incident in which the rap superstar went to the home because he was angry
at the 13-year-old girl, who is under his guardianship, for hanging up the telephone on him, according to police reports
from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.
Eminem, 33, who is the midst of divorce proceedings with Kim Mathers, yelled,
"I'll kill you," and took the girl's cell phone as he left the home about 2:15 p.m. that Sunday. Eminem also made a reference
to Kim Mathers while scolding the girl.
"Don't you ever hang up on me again," the girl quotes her uncle saying,
in a written statement to police. "The next time you do you won't have anything at my house and will never see me again.
And you wanna know the reason I left your aunt was because she had hung up on me."
Investigators from Macomb County
Sheriff's Office and county Prosecutor's Office agreed that Eminem's actions did not necessitate an arrest warrant for
misdemeanor domestic violence.
"There were no injuries and nothing to give an indication of a domestic assault,"
Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said. "We don't think there was any intent to hurt her."
James Langtry, chief
of operations at the prosecutor's office, said Marshall Mathers did not receive any special consideration due to his celebrity.
"We
treated it as any other criminal allegation brought to us," Langtry said. "There was insufficient evidence to warrant any
criminal charges."
The girl says in the report that Eminem "was poking me in the head" and moments later raised
his hand "as if he was going to hit me."
Eminem told police he "tapped her on the side of her head with this finger
because she was not paying attention to what he was saying," said a report written by sheriff's Detective Sgt. Larry King.
Eminem
on April 5 filed for divorce from Kim Mathers, 31, after less than three months of their second marriage. The two did not
reach a settlement in the divorce case in a conference at Macomb County Circuit Court in September. The case has been
sent to a mediator, and a trial date is scheduled for Dec. 19.
His 13-year-old niece, a daughter of Kim Mathers'
sister, has been in the custody of Marshall and Kim, living with them at their prior address on Westchester Drive in
Clinton Township.
Eminem's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, released a statement Friday night: "After an independent investigation
by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office and a review by the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office, both have decided that
the basis for the complaint was without merit, and the prosecutor has declined to issue any charges. Anybody who is remotely
familiar with Marshall's life knows he is a caring and loving guardian of his niece."
Eminem is believed to be living
in Oakland County but still lists his address at the Clinton Township residence, according to the police report.
Besides
the teenage girl, at the home at the time of the incident was Kim Mathers' mother, Kathleen Sluck, 50, who lists addresses
in both Ray Township and at her daughter's residence in Macomb, and Kim Mathers' youngest daughter age 4 or 5, fathered
by another man.
Both Sluck and his niece say in their written statements that Eminem made the life threatening statement
as he left.
Kim Mathers was driving home at the time of the incident and called police after being told about the
incident.
Precipitating the incident was Eminem talking to his niece by phone about "her school clothing," Eminem
told police. She "didn't like what she heard" and began "speaking over" Eminem before she hung up on him, Eminem told
police.
Eminem told police he tried calling her back several times and tried calling Kim Mathers but got no answers.
He said he went to the home "to make sure everything was OK over there," the report said.
Eminem entered the home
without knocking or ringing the doorbell and went to the computer area, where his niece was at the computer and Kim Mathers'
other daughter was on an adjacent bed. The 13-year-old put the younger girl on her lap.
Eminem told his niece, "You
know she's saving your butt right now," the girl said in her statement.
He also accused her of being "selfish" and
trying to break up him and Kim Mathers.
"You have always tried to separate me and your aunt. Always," the girl quotes
Eminem as saying. "You take everything for granted at home. I'm signing shoes for charity doing this and that, and you're
just a selfish kid."
Eminem took her cell phone, but it has been returned to her through an attorney and police.

Eminem Dealing Well With Depression
According to a close friend who spoke to The New York
Daily News, Eminem is slowly coming to terms with the death of his best friend Proof and is finally starting to deal with
his depression.
"He has been shut up in his house depressed," a friend told the paper. "He gained a ton of weight and
didn't feel like working on anything."
In the last few weeks the rapper, born Marshall Mathers III, has started to
feel better and has even signed up to a new movie role ("Have Gun - Will Travel").
Insiders say the rapper began suffering
from depression over two months ago when his best friend Proof was shot and killed during a bar fight. At the same time, Eminem
and his wife, Kim Mathers, filed for divorce for a second time.
"Obviously, he's grieving," Eminem's spokesman Dennis
Dennehy told the newspaper." He is depressed as anyone would be if they lost someone that close. He had announced he was taking
time off before this happened. It's his downtime."
Dennehy added that his client is conquering his depression without
the help of antidepressants.

Eminem Featuring in Film
Eminem will return to the big screen
in an updated version of the television Western "Have Gun — Will Travel."
Paramount Pictures has extended an 18-month option on the property
to develop it as a vehicle for the Detroit rapper, Daily Variety reported Tuesday. The show debuted on CBS in 1957 and ran
until 1963.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, has committed to
shoot the role and is excited about his latest opportunity, Interscope Records spokesman Dennis Dennehy told The Associated
Press. Dennehy did not provide additional details.
The concept of the series will be updated to contemporary times
and feature Eminem playing a bounty hunter, Daily Variety said.
The 33-year-old Grammy-winning rapper rose to stardom with best-selling
CDs, deeply personal lyrics and a starring role in the 2002 film "8 Mile."
Eminem is also expected to be involved in producing the soundtrack
of the new film.
"Have Gun — Will Travel" starred Richard Boone, who earned
Emmy nominations in 1959 and 1960 for his portrayal of gunfighter-for-hire Paladin.

Proof's Funeral: Eminem Floods Crying.. D12,
50 Cent, Paul At His Side...

Detroit-
A capacity crowd of about 2,000 people filled Fellowship Chapel on Wednesday to mourn Detroit hip-hop star Proof.
People
waited in lines that wrapped around the church to get into the scheduled 11 a.m. service, which started about 45 minutes late
to accommodate the crowd's entry.
The funeral began with the church's pastor, Rev. Wendell Anthony, reading passages
from scripture while family members and close friends paid their last respects in front of the gold-toned casket.
Proof,
who was 32, was dressed in athletic wear and Kangol cap. His rap name and birth name, Deshaun D. Holton, were etched at the
bottom of the casket in English script. He was surrounded by a huge display of flowers, blankets and other adornments.
Ushers
helped several people who were overcome with grief, and some mourners screamed in anguish as the casket was closed. Among
those in attendance were Eminem, 50 Cent, Obie Trice, D12 members Bizarre, Kuniva, Kon Artis and Swift, and Eminem's manager
Paul Rosenberg.
Eminem sat in a pew behind Proof's family, wearing a black suit. When attendees started giving testimonials,
he went to the lectern and said he had nothing planned, but that “I can't just let my friend go without me saying my
peace.”
Eminem told a story from when he was 16 years old and living on the east side. He said Proof approached
him and threw a pair of shoes at his feet, saying: “Put those on.”
When Eminem asked why, he said Proof
told him: “Cuz I'm tired of you wearing those dirty-ass shoes.”
Eminem added: “I apologize for cussing
in church.”
Visibly worn out, Eminem broke down in tears when speaking.
“He taught me how to be
a leader,” Eminem said. “I'm sure everybody who has ever met him, even just once, can testify to the fact that
he illuminated a room when he walked in it. I believe that Proof loved people and people loved him. He was a magnet. He lured
you in. You wanted to learn about him, follow his swagger. Without Proof, there would be no Eminem, no Slim Shady, no D12.
”
Proof's family presented Eminem with a framed picture of Eminem and Proof together.
Later, Detroit rapper
Obie Trice, a labelmate of Eminem and Proof's group D12, spoke and called for an end to violence. Trice was shot in the head
in a New Year's Eve incident, and a bullet remains lodged in his skull.
“I want to talk to the black men in
here that's coming up in the hood, coming up in the struggle," Trice said, overcome with tears. "We're killing each other,
dawg. And it's about nothing. Nothing. Nothing. We're all dying. And we're leaving our kids. Our mommas. Our grandmas. Over
nothing.”
“Proof is the one. He is the pioneer of Detroit music,” Trice continued. “You feel
me? We've got to stand up, man. I love all y'all. We black people. White people, too. I love y'all, too. We got to stand up.
Rest in peace.”
Rev. Anthony continued with Trice's theme. In a long, thundering eulogy, Anthony denounced violence
as “the madness that is infecting” Detroit. “Violence is the weed that is choking the life out of our community,”
he said.
Mourners were handed a full-color 14-page program, which included numerous testimonials and photos, including
a nearly full page shot of Proof with his arm around Eminem. Among the notations: “Proof was the funniest cat I ever
knew in my life,” signed by Duane (Legwork).
Sixteen names were listed as pallbearers, mostly family and friends,
including Mark Hicks, Proof's longtime manager. Several others were listed as honorary pallbearers, including Eminem, the
members of D12 and Detroit rapper Trick Trick.
People had begun arriving at the church at about 8 a.m. The
first two people in line were cousins from Detroit, Ebony Johnson, 18, and Dvonne Johnson, 14.
“We're here to
pay our respects to Proof. He was from Detroit and he was a good rapper,” said Ebony Johnson.
“Everybody
thought he was a good man. He was repping his city,” added Dvonne.
Cars were parked all along Outer Drive and
nearby side streets. The law enforcement presence was heavy, including members of the Detroit Police Department, Wayne County
Sheriff's Department and Michigan State Police.
An antique carriage drawn by white horses was waiting to transport
the casket from the church at Southfield and Outer Drive to the burial site, Woodlawn Cemetery on Woodward Avenue near 8 Mile. Proof
died in a gun battle last week in a club on 8 Mile Road in Detroit that was operating illegally after-hours. Authorities say
Proof shot 35-year-old Keith Bender Jr. in the head at the C.C.C. Club early on April 11 after a fight. Another man - a relative
of Bender - then shot Proof three times in the head and chest. Proof died almost immediately. Bender died Tuesday at St. John
Hospital and Medical Center.
Eminem Talks about Proof
"You don't know where to begin when you lose somebody who's been such a big part of your life for so long.
Proof and I were brothers. He pushed me to become who I am. Without Proof's guidance and encouragement there would have been
a Marshall Mathers, but probably not an Eminem and certainly never a Slim Shady. Not a day will go by without his spirit and
influence around us all. He will be missed as a friend, father and both the heart and ambassador of Detroit hip-hop.
Right now, there's a lot of people focusing on the way he died. I want to remember the way he lived. Proof
was funny, he was smart, he was charming. He inspired everyone around him. He can never, ever be replaced. He was, and always
will be, my best friend." - Eminem
R.I.P - Proof
Proof, a member of the Eminem-fronted Detroit-based hip-hop
sextet D12, was killed early Tuesday morning outside a Detroit nightclub in a shooting that left another man in critical condition.
According
to NBC News affiliate WDIV, Proof (whose real name is DeShaun Holton) suffered a gunshot wound to the head at the CCC Club
on East Eight Mile Road, near Gratiot Avenue. By the time police arrived, the club had been cleared out, but several witnesses
have come forward to discuss the incident with investigators. A spokesperson for the Detroit police would not discuss the
shooting, as the 32-year-old rapper's next of kin have not yet been notified of his murder.
Both victims (the other
man's name has not been released) were transported to area hospitals; Proof was rushed to St. John Holy Cross Hospital, while
the second victim, who is 35 and also sustained a gunshot to the head, was taken to St. John Hospital, where he's listed as
being in critical condition. Proof was pronounced dead on arrival.
Proof, Eminem's longtime friend, appeared in the
film "8 Mile" as Lil' Tic; he also served as Eminem's best man when the rapper remarried his wife Kim Mathers in January.
Police
are searching for the suspected gunman; a description has not been made available. Detectives have asked that anyone with
any information on the shooting come forward.
Eminem, Divorce Again?
Marshall Mathers and Kim anne Mathers where married for
less then three months and just this morning (6th of April) it was announced that the two of them where getting divourced.
In court papers filed this morning in Macomb County Circuit
Court in Mt. Clemens, a lawyer for Em — who goes in the filing by his legal name, Marshall B. Mathers III — cites
as reasons for the divorce “a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have
been destroyed.”
The filing shows the couple had a pre-nuptial agreement, but did not include details. Also mentioned
in the filing is the fact that Kimberley Anne Mathers is not pregnant. Em also asserts that he and Kim are “fit and
proper persons to have joint legal and physical custody” of their 10-year-old daughter, Hailie, who was the subject
of a bitter custody dispute in 2001 when the couple divorced for the first time.
The couple's second marriage took
place at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills on Jan. 14.
The divorce case is slated to be heard by Chief Circuit Judge
Antonio Viviano.
Eminem sells wedding photo's to Hello Mag
Eminem has joined a shameful list of celebs who sold their wedding pics at the expense of taste
and decency. Hello magazine have published the pictures from his recent wedding to childhood sweetheart Kim Scott.
It’s
the second time Slim has wed Kim. They divorced in 2001.
Eminem had shunned the bright lights of Hollywood to stick
by his “dirt poor white trash” roots in Detroit. And until this glaring blip, he had refused to embrace the showbiz
trappings his amazing music career deserves. But Eminem has dented his credibility beyond repair by cashing in on his wedding
snaps.
He even appears to be wearing a large amount of make-up. An inch thick layer of foundation, curled eye lashes
and a lash of lipstick.
Slim also appears to be oblivious to the magazine’s famous curse. A long list of couples
have split — some even before the hefty cheque cleared. Those include Kiefer Sutherland and Julia Roberts who went their
separate ways and Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee lasted about a week after sharing an awful photo spread with the glossy gossip
magazines.

EMINEM'S MUM HOPING FOR A RECONCILIATION
EMINEM's
estranged mother is thrilled the rapper is re-marrying his wife KIM because she hopes family life will help end the rift between
them.
DEBBIE NELSON, 50, admits her rap star son is secretly helping her pay medical bills as she fights lymphoma and
now she's hoping Eminem, real name MARSHALL MATHERS, has mellowed out and will welcome her back into his life.
Nelson
says, "I thank Marshall for helping me stay alive... I want to be around to see my granddaughter, HAILLIE, grow up. That's
what keeps me going."
But Nelson admits she hasn't seen the 10-year-old since Eminem severed ties with his mother after
a public slanging match in 2000.
She adds, "Now that he's getting his life back on track with Kim, I'm hopeful that
someday we'll be able to reconcile and move forward, to get beyond all of the hurt and bitterness."
That hoped-for
reconciliation will have to wait until after Eminem re-weds Kim on 14 January (06) because the rapper hasn't invited his mother
to the ceremony.
Eminem Re-Marring Date Anouced
Eminem is making good on his promise to reunite
with his ex-wife Kim Mathers - the couple are planning to exchange vows again on January 14.
American tabloid the Star
has obtained the official wedding invitation which Eminem sent out to family and friends over Christmas after revealing in
a radio interview that he and his ex had reconciled.
In the invite, the Stan hitmaker states: "This day I will marry
my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, love."
The couple have started living together with their daughter
Hailie, Kim's niece Alaina and her daughter from a former relationship, Whitney, who Eminem has legally adopted.
Eminem
wed Kim in 1999 when his career was beginning to take off but he filed for divorce just 14 months later. The couple finally
divorced in 2001.
But the news of a reconciliation hasn't delighted everyone in Eminem's family - his outspoken grandmother
Betty Kreslin is far from happy.
She says: "He needs to think twice about marrying her again, or at least get a pre-nup
this time around."

- Hailie now has a cell phone.
- Hailie doesn't beleave in Santa, no more.

gone”, “Fack” and “Shake It”.
Lyrics to “when I’m gone” can be found under this.
Song lyrics: Yeah... It's my life... The only one I guess...
[1st Verse] Have you
ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for? Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for? When they know
they're your heart, And you know you are their armour, And you will destroy anyone who would try and harm 'em, But
what happens when karma, turns right around and bites you? And everything you stand for, turns on you despite you? What
happens when you become the main source of a pain? Daddy look what I made, Dad's gotta go catch a plane. Daddy where's
Mommy? I can't find Mommy where is she? I don't know go play Hailie baby, your daddy's busy. Daddy's writing this song,
this song ain't gonna write itself, I'll give you one underdog then you gotta swing by yourself. Then turn right around
on that song and tell her you love her, Then put hands of her mother, who's a splitting image of her. That's Slim Shady,
yeah baby, Slim Shady's crazy, Shady made me, but tonight Shady's rocker-by-baby...
[Chorus/Hook] And when I'm
gone, just carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just know that I'm looking down
on you smiling, And I ain't gon' feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back. And when I'm gone, just
carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling, And
I ain't gon' feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back...
[2nd Verse] I keep having this dream,
I'm pushing Hailie on the swings, She keeps screaming, she don't want me to sing. You're making Mommy cry. Why? Why
is Mommy crying? Baby Daddy ain't leaving no more, Daddy you're lying. You always say that, you always say this is the
last time, But you ain't leaving no more, Daddy you're mine. She's piling boxes in front of the door trying to block
it, Daddy please, daddy don't leave, daddy, no stop it, Goes in her pocket, pulls out a tiny necklace locket. It's
got a picture, It'll keep you safe daddy, take it with you, I look up, it's just me standing in the mirror, These sinking
walls must be talking, cuz man I can hear 'em. They're saying "You've got one more chance to do right", and it's tonight, Now
go out there and show that you love 'em before it's too late. And just as I go to walk out my bedroom door, It's turns
to a stage, they're gone, and this spotlight is on, And I'm singing...
[Chorus/Hook] And when I'm gone, just
carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling, And
I ain't gon' feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back. And when I'm gone, just carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice
every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling, And I ain't gon' feel a thing,
So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back...
[3rd Verse] Sixty thousand people, all jumping out their seats, The
curtain closes, they're throwing roses at my feet. I take a bow and thank you all for coming out, The scream is so loud,
I take one last look at the crowd. I glance down, I don't believe what I'm seeing, Daddy it's me, help mummy her wrists
are bleeding, But baby we're in Sweden, how did you get to Sweden? I followed you Daddy, you told me that you weren't
leaving. You lied to me Dad, and now you make mummy sad, And I bought you this coin, it says 'Number One Dad!'. That's
all I wanted, I just want to give you this coin, I get the point... fine, me and Mommy are goin'. But baby wait, it's
too late Dad, you made the choice, Now go up there and show 'em that you love 'em more than us. That's what they want,
they want you Marshall, they keep screaming your name, It's no wonder you can't go to sleep, just take another pill, Yeah,
I bet you you will. You rap about it, yeah, Word, Keep it real. I hear applause, all this time I couldn't see, How could
it be, that the curtain is closing on me. I turn around, find a gun on the ground, Put it to my brain and scream 'Die
Shady!' and pump it. The sky darkens, my life flashes, the plane what I was supposed to be on crashes and burns to ashes. That's
when I wake up, awarm clock's ringing, there's birds singing, It's spring and, Hailie's outside swinging, I walk right
up to Kim and kiss her. Tell her I miss her, Hailie just smiles and winks at her little sister. Almost as if to say..
[Chorus/Hook
- Outro] And when I'm gone, just carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just
know that I'm looking down on you smiling, And I ain't gon' feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back. And
when I'm gone, just carry on... don't mourn. Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice, Just know that I'm looking
down on you smiling, And I ain't gon' feel a thing, So baby don't feel no pain. Just smile back...

Eminem sleep medication dependent
On the 18th of Augest announcement that Eminem had entered
a hospital to undergo treatment for sleep medication dependency came days after he canceled his European tour, citing exhaustion.
And a month ago, the 32-year-old rap superstar denied reports that he was preparing to retire from recording.
"It's a really unique situation where you have someone who is at a crossroads personally
and professionally," said Elliott Wilson, editor in chief of the hip-hop magazine XXL.
The man born Marshall Mathers III rose to pop stardom over the past six years by
delivering four best-selling CDs, deeply personal lyrics and a starring role in the semi-autobiographical film "8 Mile." So
his life story is known to millions: A transient childhood spent mostly in Detroit and its suburbs; a series of dead-end jobs;
plenty of drug use; contentious relationships with his mother and wife; and an undying love of his young daughter.
His most recent album, "Encore," was released last year, and he recently finished
the nationwide "Anger Management" tour.
"Hopefully, he can figure out where he is mentally," said Wilson, whose magazine
has published several long interviews with Eminem. "Ultimately, he's going to have to make some career choices. How many records
does he plan on doing? Will this be the last tour?"
In July, Eminem denied an impending retirement, but did hint at a breather.
"When I say I'm taking a break, I'm taking a break from my music to go in the studio
and produce my other artists and put their albums out," he said on MTV's Web site. "When I know my next move, I'll tell everyone
my next move."
Dennis Dennehy, Eminem's publicist, declined to comment Friday. A call to Paul
Rosenberg, the rapper's manager, was directed to Dennehy.
In 2001, Eminem was sentenced by a Michigan judge to two years' probation and ordered
to submit to drug testing for carrying a concealed weapon. Police said Eminem pistol-whipped a man he said he saw kissing
his estranged wife, Kim Mathers, outside a nightclub.
He hit his peak in 2002: his third album, "The Eminem Show," sold more than 7 million
copies, and "8 Mile" made more than $100 million at the box office while earning him an Oscar for best song.
He told the Detroit Free Press that he had abandoned his frenetic drug use —
which he said could have killed him — and was exercising daily.
But narcotics remain a part of Eminem's image as long as fans remember songs like
2000's "Drug Ballad":
"`Cause every time I go to try to leave/ Somethin' keeps pullin' on my sleeve/
I don't wanna, but I gotta stay/ These drugs really got a hold of me/ `Cause every time I try to tell them `No'/ They won't
let me ever let them go/ I'm a sucka all I gotta say is/ Drugs really got a hold of me."
